The QuickBooks estimate follow-up most businesses skip
You send a QuickBooks estimate, the customer says "let me think," and then… nothing. QuickBooks won't remind them, and you'll forget. That forgotten follow-up is money.
Estimates aren't a no
An estimate that goes quiet is rarely a firm rejection. It's a maybe that needed one more touch. Sales research consistently shows a meaningful share of "dead" quotes convert with a nudge or two — nudges that mostly never get sent, because following up is the admin everyone drops.
The report you never run
QuickBooks can show you estimates by status and age, but turning that into timely, personal follow-ups by hand is a job that survives about a fortnight before it's abandoned. The information is there; the doing isn't.
Make it hands-off
Connect to QuickBooks Online, watch for estimates past their window, and send a courteous follow-up sequence automatically. The customer gets a timely reminder, you get more accepted estimates, and you did nothing extra.
Quote Nudge QB does exactly that for QuickBooks. On Xero? Quote Nudge is the Xero edition. Both turn "I meant to chase that" into something that just happens.
