Turning quotes into orders without re-keying (the trade counter version)
The customer says yes — and your reward is typing the whole thing in again. Re-keying accepted quotes is pure waste with a side of transcription errors.
Quote and order are the same object
A quote is an order that has not been confirmed yet. Treat it that way: build the cart once, at the customer's tier prices, and generate a quotation PDF from it — emailed or downloaded — without creating anything in Linnworks. When they confirm, the same cart becomes the order with one click.
Why tier pricing matters here
Quotes at the wrong price are worse than no quote. Pulling the customer's tier automatically means the quote is right first time, and the price they accepted is the price on the order — because it is literally the same cart.
Trade Order POS works exactly this way: tier-priced quote PDFs from the cart, then quote-to-order in one step, straight into Linnworks. And if quotes going unanswered is your bigger leak, that is a different tool — read about chasing cold quotes.
